That completely unimpressed look on Flannet’s face in panel #6. She has some options in the planning. Niko has previously demonstrated some pretty grand arrogance, to her downfall. I think she missed an important clue here … the lack of the scent of fear (on Flannet).
Depends on two factors, one is how Rich is doing werewolves, and the second is dependent on if Maran is a true werewolf or an infected werewolf. The difference being true weres are born as weres, and can shapeshift whenever they want, infected weres are linked to some trigger event such as the full commonly used for werewolves.

It wouldn’t surprise me if <i>someone</i> thought to hide away some silver, in some form or another.
They might have been removed earlier, considering Castle Greyfort had two werewolve inhabitants already.
That they were concerned about being able to control themselves. They would be more likely to bring extra silver *in* than get rid of it.
Was Maran ever cured, then? This could lead to some interesting werewolf-vs-werewolf conflict.
