I imagine it’s common enough in places where angry drunks have a reasonably likelihood of deciding that beating the shit out of you (or your life out of you) just because of how you look.
…And anyone who wants to follow this post up with anything to the tune of "at one point in history…" needs to travel more.
The wonders of agoraphobia. I have met some people who have to really work up the courage just to go out to get what they need. You have to carefully encourage them to keep going and meeting supportive people. Loud and rude people can just shut them down quickly.
I actually have this "affliction"… and yes it is extremely difficult simply stepping out to go get my mail, never mind groceries or seeing the doctor for something! I’ve since learned to deal with it a bit better, but when I was younger it was very hard… and of course my family was no help at all.
Obviously she’s living dangerously, for herself and her children.
But it sure makes the statement that the first time was not a mistake, and despite the public outcry, she has not changed her mind and will not bend to their threats.
Gee, couldn’t she have used some fantasy contraception after the first try had such less-than-enthusiastic feedback from the people? Though, shouldn’t complain. Those girls are regular cutiepies!
