Narla: There I was, having an intelligent conversation with three suitors, each of the a good potential mate, when some stupid human comes along, interrupting our verbal intercourse with some really stupid questions which have quite obvious answers. I thought humans had schools where they would learn how to find out answers to questions and how to think for themselves. So rude. I did not feel like humouring him, so I just told him to go away and try to resume the conversation; hopefully, the mood is not completely ruined.
D&D sphinxes come in four varieties, three of them male and the last one female. The problem for the lady sphinxes is that of the male variety, one is stupid (criosphinx, ram-headed, only as smart as the average human), one is stupid and evil (hieracosphinx, hawk-headed, only as smart as the average orc), and the last one (androsphinx, man-headed, the only one intellectually close to a match to the woman-headed gynosphinx) is just not interested in having company.
Hopefully the point is moot anyway, since they’re siblings.
Some of the bloodiest wars in history have been fought by siblings.
Take the U.S. Civil War. "Brother fought against brother," the historians tell us. So without siblings, there would have been no one to fight. I mean, I guess they could lob a few artillery shells at their cousin or something, but it’s just not the same, and the war would have ended in a week.
Sorry. I didn’t word that very well. I meant that their siblings, and from the way they’re drawn in the last panel, it looks like Narla the Sphynxetaur and her brothers are having a conversation that may end with her… entertaining one of them. Runt seems to have saw that, and may go down and talk to them about how siblings shouldn’t do that with each other. In the human world, anyway.
its tooken me roughly 2 weeks to read from start to here and its been one HELL of a good ride!, this webcomics even gotten me to tolerate elves again, and thats something thats been in my book of grudges for YEARS, but this is just a long and tedious way of me saying, i love this comic, and i can wait to read more
I don’t think their gonna like what he’s noodling.
May no harm come to Awl, Low, Mezzerick or Narla.
…or His Majesty.
Agreed.
Now, what can he bribe one of them with to take him down there?

Oops: each of them a good …
Aren’t the Sphynxetaurs all children of the Sphynx and Turg? As in, all siblings?
If it’s good enough for the pharaohs, it’s good enough for them.
To quote Gigguk from his review of Domestic Girlfriend, "It’s not incest if you shout NO CHROMO!"
Haha

> D&D sphinxes come in four varieties
Not relevant.
t!
I love that I can’t tell if he’s still scheming, or, erm, distracted.
t!
Me thinks he’s going to furlough the ship by ordering the shipwright to break port. Call me captain Bleedin Obvious 😛
I feel that Runt is going to either go and give them a little speech about them being siblings and that it’s wrong, or join them in the line. Or both.
Does he even know that their siblings?
It’s wrong for them to be siblings?
