I know there’s probably an important ritual/symbolic reason for Slissy to do this ceremony in the nude. But I’d rather believe she’s STILL working on a permanent fix for her wayward "Uncover" spell from way back when.
I was thinking something similar; it was implied that the gang’s backup clothes got magic’d away when Slissy returned their original clothes, and a "ceremonial dress" was among the backup clothes they used. It’d be funny if Slissy simply never got around to retrieving or replacing that.
Ooo, just thought of something: Philip is a Paladin, basically a Holy Knight, they get their powers from their God(dess), maybe his was just recently ‘absorbed’ by Ranna, let’s just hope he didn’t follow like Sahar did 🙁
Even if the causal chain were clearer, I wouldn’t really blame Slissy’s band for the Ranna containment failure. In a world like this one, Those Meddling Adventurers are as much a force of nature as gravity. If a plan fails because it didn’t count on their shenanigans, you haven’t got faulty adventurers. You’ve got a faulty plan.
(Not just of skyclad ceremonies specifically; she disapproves in general. More efficient that way, and if someone is still trying to do something after Granny disapproves, then maybe it was an important thing after all.)

Yeah, for a bit, but it (and all the other backup clothes) disappeared when Slissy brought back their regular clothes.

Slight confusion, I thought Slissy was with William not Philip? Did something happen to William? Sorry! It’s been a while.
She is married to William. Philip showed up unexpectedly during her ritual.

Well, her Player has called her a "Witch", and a lot of modern Witches do their rituals nude, so it makes sense.
