And, somewhere, Endiform, snorts in disgust at what is basically derision on the part paladin. If not for the threat of Ranna, he’d have even Philip’s holy mount buck him off to semd the message.
A wizard is never late, nor is she early. She arrives precisely when this bloody stupid second-rate museum hires a curator with a stone-to-flesh spell.
And ironically, "removing the hand of Aliam" might not even get on their radar. They don’t know what it did. For all they know, they just went to some hidden place, fetched some artifact and brought it to their questgiver, and that’s it.
By the way, maybe they SHOULD find that "succubus who still roams the world unchecked". Slissybus might actually know what they did.
Is it just me who would like to see William riding a pony? With his knees tucked under his chin to prevent creating grooves in the ground with his feet 😀
Pedalbox depth can be a pain, can’t it? I know there are aftermarket solutions for moving the pedals a few inches forward, but that’s an additional degree of complication and cost.
depends on ADnD edition, and on the world/gaming system 🙂 when i played 2nd, it was anti-paladin at first, and later they introduced paladins could be of any alignment, but otherwise were about the same as lg paladins.
i love how this arc fits in with the overall theme of good/evil 🙂
Only ever played Basic and 2nd, and always knew the ‘evil’ knights as ‘Dark Knights’, Paladins were specifically the Good Knights (Death Knights were something else altogether 😛 )
Well, since the paladin seems to be the one LEAST embarrassed by their trail of carnage and vandalism, presumably the people they beat up and stole from were safely south of Neutral.
true! otoh, it doesn’t mean it isn’t wrong/a dick move/not good… so pick your sides people, and try to convince your party members on the other side! 😀
"Yeah! If this Mag is so great, how come we were able to steal that holy treasure?"

Poor horse- only a means to an end to a god who cares not what happens to the horse as a result 🙁 now if the god -asks- the horse…
When I read the Great Mag, I thought of the Great (and Late) Meegs. Taking her stuff would have angered Meegs, but not the gods.

"Been here all along…"
These people are remarkably stupid for adventurers…
They’re exactly like all the adventuring parties I was part of. 🙂
"You mean your pet demon is out there causing harm?"
"I don’t know. I haven’t checked. Didn’t I just say that?"
Well, that is a LOT of things they’ve done…

Or, she’s sitting at home waiting for a call from Slissy, afraid to go out in case that’s the precise moment she does
Ahh, one of THOSE adventuring parties…
Yeah, the ‘normal’ kind
Loving how they are coming up with all sorts of ‘bad things they have done’, and yet, none of them are quite bad enough 😛
Is it just me who would like to see William riding a pony? With his knees tucked under his chin to prevent creating grooves in the ground with his feet 😀
Like when a 6’7" guy folds himself into a Mini Cooper?
Sort of 🙂
Was kinda thinking of an old cartoon where a big guy rode a small ass (or like those big twins in cowboy hats who rode those micro-bikes)
I had two Mini’s (1967 and 1985) and both were very roomy on the inside.
I’ve seen a 6’8" man fit neatly into a Mini
What I don’t get is why a 5’6" woman can’t reach the dang pedals of the same car

Okay…that answers a lot of my questions from the previous comic.
Their adventuring party–classic old-school murder hoboes (even if they didn’t always murder).
The sort that would be on the original "demon idol" cover of the Players Handbook.
Got it. 😀
Blowing up a *Paladin*, now – THAT would be BAD.
Or, at least, Ugly.
t!
I’d be more worried about the shrapnel from the pally’s armor. 😛
Um… what’s these guys’ alignment again?
Well, one of them is a paladin…
Paladins are not neccessary lawful-good. Even chaotic-evil gods have their paladins.
Don’t they call those "anti-paladins"?
No, usually ‘Dark Knights’

Yeah, but THIS paladin wanted to give monsters a proper burial.
https://www.yafgc.net/comic/2690-respect-for-the-dead/
Also, he talked about making the world a better place (plenty good job he did at that, lol).
https://www.yafgc.net/comic/2689-points-of-view/
Well, if he _had_ done a better job of it, would he still have one? o_O
Well, I mean, his adventuring group has retired by now anyway… or would have, if he hadn’t done such a bad job.
So, by _not_ doing such a good job of things, ensures he still has a job
Pretty clever, for a Holy Tincan 😛
I don’t think he did that intentionally, though xD
Well, since the paladin seems to be the one LEAST embarrassed by their trail of carnage and vandalism, presumably the people they beat up and stole from were safely south of Neutral.
No, Philip is more concerned about what they can’t remember: can’t compare it’s severity if you can’t remember what you did
"It’s okay to commit sacrilege: it’s not OUR god/dess."
Valid point
Yup, just like you can’t be a traitor to a country or cause that is not your own
true! otoh, it doesn’t mean it isn’t wrong/a dick move/not good… so pick your sides people, and try to convince your party members on the other side! 😀
Of course not, just can’t be labelled a ‘traitor’
If ya gonna execute someone, at least get the charges correct 😛
Oh my, they set the bar pretty high didn’t they?
Or would that be ‘low’?
