Ooooooo… She just blew it all! By biting him with her snake hair, and dismissing him like some low rank minion, she just gave him away to redeem himself, even if it costs him his life!
Lesson: Don’t piss off the Main Mage of your army!
Maxim 29. "The enemy of my enemy is my enemy’s enemy. No more. No less."
He can betray the entire Rannite army and be a key player in destroying her power… and he will still be a villain, not a hero.
He’ll just be a convenient villain.
Well, Princess Sahar has always been no nonsense, no matter which side she was working for. And the Sahar we see now may still have some of her original qualities. Though it does seem that she was the sort to simply do her best, even after her forced conversion.
I don’t care for Kurassa, and will enjoy seeing his comeuppance. But I hope Sahar gets a moment of redemption and goes to the afterlife only after Ranna is no longer in charge of the underworld.
I don’t think anyone’s forgotten. Getting a pardon doesn’t mean he’s no longer a bad person; it just means he’s earned himself a one-use-only "get out of jail free" card. Kind of like the Malfoys in Harry Potter.
I think that was a sarcastic "great", as in, "Great, now we’re all gonna die."
Why is it that someone who has been a complete arsehole from his first appearance even gets the idea (from the readers) of a ‘pardon’, and with Meegs everyone was ready with sledgehammers when she got stoned?
And she actually _was_ one of the ‘Good Guys’, and no more self-interested than any of the others
I think it didn’t really bite him deeply or it can choose not to inject poison. A certain popular Half-elfs brother had a rescuer turned to stone when bitten.
Just because a snake is venomous doesn’t mean it HAS to inject venom with every bite. Often a snake will choose not to release, especially when biting defensively. Snakes generally don’t want to kill people, they just want to be left alone.
The fact that Sahar rebuffed Kurassa’s advances doesn’t mean Kurassa is suddenly going to become a ‘good guy’, certainly not be redeemed for his past actions
When you’re such a dick even the other evil folks don’t like you.
He’s deffo gonna betray the other badguys for power. The fact that he’s something of a ‘personal villain’ to one of the good guys we know may give him some kind of plot immunity but I think whatever power grab he’s going to do in this plotline is going to bite him – and not in the nose.

Sexual harassment saves the day! Wait, what?
Redeem himself??? That’s a bit of a leap, don’t you think?
Big leap indeed!

Have you forgotten everything about him? o_O

Why does she have to die to get redemption? o_O
Great now he will get a pardon after all of this is over…
Why? Once an arsehole, always an arsehole
Have you forgotten (as well) what he did in the past? o_O
there’s a reason his name is KurA$$a

I think they're saying that if he switches sides and betrays the Rannites, he might be given a pardon and they are *not* liking that.
At least the snakes of her hair do not appears to be poisonous to mammals. Too bad.
I think it didn’t really bite him deeply or it can choose not to inject poison. A certain popular Half-elfs brother had a rescuer turned to stone when bitten.
*A certain popular half-elfs rescuer, who was not his brother, turned to stone when bitten.
I don’t remember that happening. If you mean Caelin, he was only poisoned https://www.yafgc.net/comic/3051-just-in-case/
Ahh thanks. I mis-remebered that
You were partially correct: not turned to stone, but still poisoned

*Ct’their’s army storming the city*
Sahar: Why hasn’t the countermeasure gone off yet?!
Kurassa: *remembering being rebuffed* I am sorry I miscalculated. *did not just decided to take a "little" longer than he should have*
DisCHord? I don’t see any Bards in this strip! 😉
Kurassa! Kudos to Rich’s art once again that I could recognize him before his name was dropped.
Also agree with the people who feel the snake may have given a "dry bite".
There’s at least some venom, his nose wouldn’t get so swollen so fast from a mere tooth-stabbing.
Ever been punched in the nose? Did it swell? The fist must have had venom in it then
He said "so fast", no need to be a snarky bitch.
The moral of the story is to avoid flirting with a gorgon at all costs!
Deserved.
Doesn’t he still have that magical artifact? The one that gives the owner control over the elements and jinns alike?
Also first time commenting.
And this is why Good will win cause Evil are dicks
Evil may be dicks, but Good are idiots, and usually win, not because they are better, but because Evil defeats itself
Are the forums ever getting fixed? I still can’t send a PM, and when I tried to post to report that I couldn’t do that either.
It seems there has been no forum activity this month, so something’s probably wrong.
Gee, Kurassa, you shouldn’t be so upset. You did get a piece of asp, after all.
Kurassa: "Aah, bite me."
t!
(desperately steering away from a Kurassa Playing Hide The Kolbassa joke, because that would be infantile)
Panel Five – YES!
After struggling a bit with clunky exposition, it’s inserted smoothly into context again.
t!
The fact that Sahar rebuffed Kurassa’s advances doesn’t mean Kurassa is suddenly going to become a ‘good guy’, certainly not be redeemed for his past actions
Nope rope says nope, dope.
I’d be thinking – there’s no need to get hissy with me 😛

Yeah, he will betray the Rannites because that’s what he does, not because he is secretly a good guy
Has a single person suggested that he is secretly a good guy?
I cheered at the fourth panel! 😀
If this was a movie, that’s when the entire theatre would erupt in cheers 😀
