Fairly sure, Cubes have a porous membrane that not only helps keep their basic shape, but allows them to keep things out they don’t want, and things in that they do, otherwise they would just be an Acidic Puddle
Why rely on unreliable magicks when you have friends to do the finding for you?
Send the boys out to look for portable shade, or, simply rest up until nightfall
In Coup d’Drow, they seemed to be regarded by everyone as almost-but-not-quite-adults. They’ve picked a few years and a lot of miles since then, so presumably they’re prime "adventurer" age these days?
Where is ‘home’ now that the Black Mountain is gone?
Maybe where Ain has been living? Broken Toe Village, IIRC.
Yeah, if I’m not mistaken they’re still with Glon’s new community in the Goblin Lands.
Well, for these four… when the other three stay
Glad to see all the kids made it!
WHEW!! Major relief! As much as I’d would have understood one or more not making it, I wouldn’t have been happy.
I am curious how Yapp hugged Gimmy tho lol
"Ok, that’s enough of a hug, Gimmy; I need my arms, shoulders, and face back now."
Storytellers refer to this as ‘skriptonyte’ or ‘plotholium’.
Perhaps Gimmy has the ability to turn solid at will, so they don’t consume their friends.

Look at them, all grown up! The arrmor’s a good look, too.
Would you say they’re roughly about the age Glon was when we first saw him?
It’s been kinda established that slime cubes can chose to abzorb or not
Good to see these kids made it 😀
Even grown up they’re so adorable!
Stuck until someone turns off the Giant Sky Death Laser, yeah, I know the feeling. 😉
Yeah, we used to live in the Mojave Desert. My family called it the Horrible-Glaring-Orb. One of the main reasons we moved, when we got the chance.
Love how even Gimmy seems “wide eyed” as a geliminous cube from Sittica yelling.
also that he ‘turns around’ to look where the sound is coming from
He doesn’t get a lot of play, but he is one of my favorite characters.
Mine too! One of my favorite strips is when the boys met him 🙂
Reminds me of Cube from Rusty & Company.
Yay, the kids made it!
Well, it’s said that Sittica was the smart of the group.
There wasn’t any who doubt that, too.
Sittica the Smart, Ain the Strong, Yapp the Brave and Gimmy the Secret Weapon (Yapp should be to work the S type)
Stout-hearted?
Yapp, the Stalwart
Yapp the steadfast?
Don’t Drow have an inherent Darkness spell in most incarnations? even if it only lasts a few minutes, it should be enough to find a wagon.
Haven’t seen any innate spells here and Richard always says this is not D&D.

This one word; umbrella!
Yups, they used that in the desert, and Six simply used a hooded cloak when they fled to Ain’s home
How old are Yapp, Sittica, Ain, and Gimmy at this point?
In Coup d’Drow, they seemed to be regarded by everyone as almost-but-not-quite-adults. They’ve picked a few years and a lot of miles since then, so presumably they’re prime "adventurer" age these days?
Hmm, same age as another group of young up-coming adventurers?
The corpses lying around are just so well done.
We don’t know any of them, but they really do remind you of the stakes.
t!
And the "X" in the snake’s eyes are a really cute touch!
They sure are!
