Assuming everything is alright, the comic will continue when it becomes its’ turn in the priority list of life…
For the past several weeks, starting with the carriage ride, I’ve had this image of a wildebeest dressed as a Hasidic Jew, complete with tallit and payot (prayer shawl and sideburn curls), saying, "Gnu? You have jokes?" It’s not going away and I obviously need help! (Seriously. That image has been haunting me, partly because it’s not funny enough to be a joke on its own. O_o )
btw, did you know the animal yak and the phrase yak meaning to talk derive from 2 different words and so are unrelated?
As for new comics, I’d much prefer one when Rich can complete one without adding to his stress, so that it’s good. 🙂 if something negative were to happen, somebody would let us know, so I’m just taking the time to archive dive. Again 🙂 Lucas reallllly has matured, and I am so appreciating the differences in his character 🙂
Beginning players often have little to no chance against veterans. The term old players came up with to describe a Gnu bee being taken to the cleaners so brutally was to say the Crocodile got him. But Gnu players do have a sympathetic spot (if only to keep the Gnu bee dropping coin at the table), so they set up a consolation collection for the player who had been savaged.
Of course, no good deed ever goes unpunished. Some clever card sharps figured out it was easier to lose and get the Croc pot than try for the real prize. Not a way to get wealthy fast, but it does pay for travelling to the next tourney.
