Is there a reason they are looking at the wine, such as avoiding looking at here? If so, I’m seriously hoping it is not to figure out which wine would go with Taurenil. 0_o
Also, I notice you didn’t mark Taurenil in the character list. Is this the first time in this comic you’ve had to decide whether a corpse counts? As far as I recall, the other dead haven’t been named characters, or some other reason to preclude that. Or was it a subconscious decision?
(Or I could be really overthinking this, but I am curious.)
lastly: SNEAKY how you did not make her obvious, much less front-and-center. I like!
He might as well just ask her to cover her ears and step out for a bit.
You can write it down and burn it
And all the girlies say he’s pretty sly, for an elf guy.
Love the amused and curious look on the Captains face
Trying to set up a situation where the Captain reacts how Lucas wants her to?
Inquiring minds want to know!
The body is packed in a barrel of brandy like Lord Nelson’s ?
Even if she isn’t really dead, she’s not going to want to get out 😉
Heheh… she is there, but I didn’t draw her very clearly. She’s covered in a sheet on a table to the right of that first panel.

Not at here, at HER. Obviously, where ever they are looking, here they are, looking here.
If they are trying to figure that out about the wine, do they also grow fava beans at the abbey? 😉
Clearly, they are looking for a cask of Amontillado.
