I think the distance from Buttercup squared will directly improve her odds of get the spell off right. Kind of like the safe distance from radioactive metals is calculated.

Hoping Slissy leaves with Dewcup, they would make a cute couple (until Arachne founds them 😛 )
Pretty sure the group put on their spare clothes, while Dewcup got Slissy's spares, leaving Slissy to her own devices.
