Okay, I gotta ask now: At which point did Clover and Lucas meet before she became queen? I could swear, they were in no story arc at the same place before.
Technically in comic they never met (closest point being in http://yafgc.net/comic/0279-squaring-up/ where they WOULD have been on the same boat…except Arachne), but it isn’t a stretch to believe that they met off screen before Glon joined the Baron’s army since Clover was in the SH*T Squad and Lucas was frequently with the army. At the very least it would be commonplace for her to recognize the heir to the barony she lived in even if she had not "met" him persay. Though her use of his first name at meeting and not his title suggests she knew him.
