Smart move, actually. That cutting edge won’t do shit against plate. But that blunted end will work fairly nicely in denting armor.
Agreed, but Karak wears not a cuirasse but a kind of splint mail and axe is still better with it, especially if we take unprotected neck into account.
The thing is that Runt honours his oath to Hogga about trying his utmost to not harm the Karak, therefore he is restricted with non-lethal weapon choice.
if we are going nitpicky here.
Look at the size of runt, the size of the axe, take into account that he is a young boy in plate armor……his "strike" would have the strenght of a wet towel.
He aint denting nothing with this axe.
