Uhm… did he think Sidonie changed into a new dress and made herself a new hairdo in, like, two minutes? And how comes he doesn’t catch up when she snaps at him like that? And why am I still expecting logics and reason from some of these characters? Questions, questions…

Clearly not, but he saw her from *behind*. Even with their strangely identical faces, how does that work? Hair is a seriously large part of how we recognise people from the front, let alone from behind.
