Seems the wives have Glon pretty well sussed by now, and treat him like a spoiled child… one who was dropped one too many times on his head as a baby 😛
Well, the way that the humans treated Glon while he was growing up as the blacksmith’s son, that wouldn’t surprise me. I’m not referring to the blacksmith specifically, but pretty much no one else would have been very nice to Glon either.
Given that he uses the words "fascinating quest", I think it's more like he doesn't want to be left out than he's worried about her safety. Though undoubtedly he'll feel happier being able to help her if she needs it too.
