Ever since one of the Discworld books brought it up I can’t help but wonder; are -all- hair on a Gorgon snakes, or just the hair on their heads?
Well, don’t believe their eyebrows or eyelashes are tiny snakes
This is one of the very few webcomics where time passes _faster_ than real life. 😀
Is that a good thing?
I’d say so, the plots move along nicely. (Compare Grrl Power which took like two years to cover one day. It was a pretty hectic day, but still.)
Two years? Fairly sure it took four years (flash back is set in 2010 or 2011, the first comic went up August 23rd, 2010)
Also, I thought those would be albino snakes. Oh well.
Why albino?
Not sure exactly what EML there meant, but a black-skinned Drow might have albino snakes (her original hair color). Just because. Might have been an intriguing theme since the many followers are of different races, different species and colors of snakes depending upon race & natural hair color could have been a real and entertaining possibility.
White hair, white snakes.

Given the snakes seem to match the previous hair style, I predict one large snake out of the top of her rubber head covering where her hair comes out.
No, not one giant snake, lot’s of little ones, smaller than any other Gorgon 😛
There are snakes under her…eh…"headgear"? Before turning evil cultist, celena had normal hair…
No, monkey-face doesn’t have snakes, yet, but going by her hair they will lots of thin skinny snakes, and because of that she will be moved to the bottom of the hierarchy 😛

Thank you, like said above: calling that wasn’t meant to be derogatory, even mum thinks that headgear makes her look like a monkey (have really bad memory when it comes to names so tend to resort to nicknames, usually based on appearance, to remember characters 🙁 )

Yeah, given the range of color and type among snakes, I was hoping for color variation based on original hair color. But that would be hard to depict in the regular B&W comics, I suppose. I can’t help but feel sorry for the poor stunned Drorgon though. All she wanted was to not get lynched by anyone!

For some reason I was expecting the snakes to be white, like the hair of the drow usually is… and each tiny snake would have little red eyes hehe!
