Oooo, just realised why Jais is grinning so evilly: she knows how tough Dark Mistresses are so she is going to get to go All Out with everything Dark Mistresses know, _plus_ the extra stuff Arachne has taught her 😀

Small mistake Jais made, though: she neglected either to remember &/or mention Ranna’s name. Arachne would have gone into high levels of Red Alert and (hopefully) gotten ahead of the curve. That’s gonna cost her some time, possibly very crucial time.
Maybe Jais thought Ranna was simply the head of the other Dark Mistresses, and, in a way, she is correct
Can’t remember if Jais was around when Lolth was Arachne’s dungeon guest, so it may just not occur to her that someone would use the name of a Goddess (or whatever Ranna is) so familiarly or personally (as in, they have personally talked to Ranna)
You know that feeling you get when you’re reading a webcomic and you think you’ve figured out what’s going on, but you don’t want to share your theory in a comment because that could spoil the experience for anyone who hasn’t figured it out, but you know that if you don’t share it no one will believe that you figured it out before it’s explained?

Not a ‘sister’, they are all Mistresses, and they already knew a thing or two about torture before Arachne’s additional training
