Also seems to me, that they have a traitor amongst them: how else would the Rancid Bunch be able to capture and convert _every single one_ of their ‘eyes and ears’
1. Gets defensive and replies with an implied attack.
2. Does not answer the question. Not even close.
3. Is not aware that she has spectacularly failed to address the actual issue.
They should be at least sending boring reports like "The village of Dimity had a faire on (date). I enjoyed the beer. No one died, though some wished they had due the hangovers the following day."
The fact that NO reports have shown up should be a red flag to any decent military or paramilitary organisation like the Daughters of the Blade.
Zack Tilly! Either the Daughters are incompetent, or already Rancid
Seems to me, Jone’s Army isn’t the _only_ group in need of a ‘restructuring’, just have to wait and if it requires the same level or if it can be saved
"You have eyes and ears in every city, town and village huh? Then tell me, how did you not know that the castle itself has fallen and the King has been forced to flee?"
That Daughter doesn’t seem broken like previous converts we’ve seen, she seems eager — to me that implies she was a Rannite before she put on the suit, and conversion to Mistress is part of her reward.
I wonder if there’s any way to rehabilitate a Mistress or once they’re in the suit there’s no going back. I seem to remember we’ve been told the suit magically bonds to the wearer, but not if there’s a way to sever the magic.
And of course there are the psychological issues which if anything are thornier than the physical ones. We know Mistresses can change allegiances — we’ve seen that a few times — but is there any way to be sure someone brainwashed into worshipping a sadistic goddess who feeds on that worship isn’t secretly continuing to worship and feed that goddess?
The suits can’t be removed, not without skinning them anyway: the suits bond physically to the skin
Seemed to me that that was more of a defiant challenge, but she does seem too eager for her current state (already has the body suit on from the looks of it)
Okay, who said "It can’t get any worse"?
Nah, people expected this.
Told ya!!!!!!!!
Seems the only Daughters who _haven’t_ gone rancid are the ones who hid in their keep
Also seems to me, that they have a traitor amongst them: how else would the Rancid Bunch be able to capture and convert _every single one_ of their ‘eyes and ears’
Great character writing in Panel 3:
1. Gets defensive and replies with an implied attack.
2. Does not answer the question. Not even close.
3. Is not aware that she has spectacularly failed to address the actual issue.
We all know people like this.
t!
They should be reporting regularly "nothing to report". And being seen in person from time to time. They have a bad reporting scheme.

Who watches the watchmen….err… watchwomen in this case.
"You have eyes and ears in every city, town and village huh? Then tell me, how did you not know that the castle itself has fallen and the King has been forced to flee?"
"…Oh crap."
"Because our operative in the castle hasn’t reported anything of the kind!"

Is it just me (probably just me), but does the Daughter behind Tawny seem just a little cute when she’s angry? 🙂
