I tried to read the entire comic once, but gave up after over 150 pages. I just couldn’t keep it up. I started reading the comic during the expedition to the hidden valley.
My first YAFGC Binge started in the hotel room to and from my Nana’s funeral. A friend of mine sent me the link to the comic where Meegs gets her Budgie Gryphon to cheer me up. I went back to the beginning and read when I wasn’t doing the work I’d had to bring with me and wasn’t doing family stuff.
Not that I have some real problems with my memory, but after a 1 year break I’ve found out that there are tons of stuff in YAFGC I couldn’t recollect at all. More than 2.5k pages is hard to comprehend at once, especially wordless ‘one-shot’ episodes such as particular duels during the tournament or a hint on rhe ‘classical’ hitpoint system (the strip when Charlotte’s last arrow ruins a monster). There is really REALLY plenty of fun to re-read the stuff )))
Maybe it’s a good thing that Ranna has read the Evil Overlord Handbook (http://www.eviloverlord.com/). Particularly Rule #17: When I employ people as advisors, I will occasionally listen to their advice.
Hrm…is it possible Ajan may be bluffing here? Hoping to keep Ranna busy with rampant destruction and chasing her tail to delay her finding her body? Cause the ‘barbarian’ tribe don’t exactly seem thrilled with her atm.
Since no reply option appeared…
If you destroy a God’s body while the life-force (or soul if you can call it that) exists, even in another body (in Ranna’s case, in Charlotte) the God’s physical form will reform at the site of the life-force if not transform the new host into the God’s body, so for this story, destroying Ranna’s body would mean she wins as she’d get her body back one way or another.
Just binged the entire comic… I’m so sad I have to wait for updates now :(. But in all seriousness really really awesome work man!

Well, you don’t have to read it all in one day. Take breaks, keep place. It’s faster to read than to make, so you’ll catch up eventually.
Or get the books. Then you can read it in bite-size chunks at your own disposal (plus extras!)

Poor Ranna…
She’s actually able to take advise. No good dictator/evil godess of doom should do that… It takes their insanity away 😛

If you don’t like it, YOU find your body!
t!

No it is not, it is in the south among the desert.
unless arachne figures a way to relocate it before she comes 😛
Plan: Draw out all the blood in the body, put in jars and scatter them to all corners of the world.
Why not just destroy the body?

Oh.
Yeah, that would be quite the problem.
But then, does a way to stop her even exist?
Crush her spirit? Already started, if panel four is any indicator 😛
