This is probably still Arachne’s personal dungeon. Her former slaves/toys have been turned to vampiresses and serve the master vampire who was granted Arachne’s house. The former slaves (well… actually they’re just been enslaved by someone else, but I don’t think they see it that way) delighted in throwing Arachne into one of the same cages she kept them in.
This is one of Arachne’s cages. She decided the metals to use. Metals that her toys couldn’t escape from, but that SHE can, if ever there was some successful revolt among her toys. This isn’t dumb luck, or a foolish mistake on the new vampiresses part. This is something Arachne planed for YEARS ago.
