Now, unfortunately, that doesn't often do much for their senses of massive entitlement and internalized belief in their own innate superiority, which tends to kick in around puberty.

Lucas has had most of that kicked out of him by now, what with learning of his humble common heritage, being disowned, and re-adopted. Humility has been learned.
