Sir Idries is learning the *why* behind that phrase "once you’ve had a bug-babe, there’s no going back." You can’t go back to that, if you don’t survive this…
Or, "because she’ll never let you escape!"
Ok. This is where a fist to the face is appropriate. Teach her that he is not prey, but be cordial and say that isn’t an outright rejection, but rules must clearly be established. She is clearly evil and thus isn’t doing this out of love. That means establishing trust and that he isn’t prey to serve her whims. From there, a proper courtship can begin. Not what we humans, especially those of us who are aligned with Good, but even evil has benefit if properly balanced out.
