I’ve played so much Skyrim, I read that word as "draugr" (Norse mummies) and never questioned it.
Thanks for unintentionally correcting me. 😛
This is a weird approach to fortification. Without active defense, no fortification is impenetrable. Active defense requires a large crew and a method to strike against attackers (notoriously difficult if your attackers move underground, typically requiring to dig towards them and strike against them).
And frankly, if I was worried about subterranean threats, I would go high (an airship comes to mind – or a ship on water). But I guess that doesn't protect as well against surface or airborne threats.
Hmm, a survivalist named Gummer with a subterranean domicile… now where have I heard that before?
Ooo, did it have Bacon in it? 😀
the more i read this comic the more i love it
Has it been tested against Earth Elementals? Umber Hulks? Even if Dwarves built it, they can still probably breach it, ya’ know.
Duegar are the Dwarf equivalent of Drow, so it’s probably Dwarf Proof if it’s Duergar Proof.
