Admitting the possibility of an indexing error is alright, revising events in later versions is fine…but never admit "you have no answer"! At most, an author is allowed to say "my characters haven’t explained that to me, but they must have their reasons".
Alright, while I don’t remember Ch’Their ever being called a fertility goddess, per se, she kinda fits the type, and "Health and Purity" certainly might include the sort of thing that would include various blessings the ecclesiasty might find themselves called upon to bestow on a young royal couple. They are just cuddling in a bower, they might not be spending the night, even, so they could have a host of reasons to be there!
