Don’t presume laws can protect you from ill-intentioned lawyers who are willing to break them for profit. Look what happened to Backpage.com! The REPEATEDLY proved in court that they’d committed no crimes and done no wrong, but the right-wing groups keep taking them back to court for the same thing (which is illegal) and bankrupting them with legal expenses they need to prove again and again that they’re not guilty.
I do wonder why the goblins seem to hate it so much. If she was a *bad* singer then surely the animals wouldn't be attracted, and we've seen goblins listening to human singing before.
My first thought was volume, but this archive binge I'm going with she has a high pitched voice (coloratura soprano, likely) that the goblins can't stand.
