She’s in the archives. We had priestesses of C’Thier in Umbril and Glon got to meet C’Thier at one point. There may have been more occurrences, but I don’t have a good enough memory.
Oh, is there a rulebook about that somewhere?
You’re referring to Greek mythology I’ll bet.
Saidrah is Ranna’s spirit child, which means that she can be anything Ranna decides she wants her to be.
Even in the old Greek myths, the offspring of a god & a mortal wasn’t automatically a demi-god. Usually, they started out by becoming "heroes," being manipulated by one god or another into a destiny…And sometimes were rewarded by ascension. THAT’S when they became demi-gods (officially speaking).
In old Greek myths the off-spring of a God and a Mortal WAS a demi-god by definition. The "ascension" that you speak of is not them becoming demi-gods, but rather them becoming immortal gods themselves, like Heracles (Hercules in Roman mythology).
Is there a particular reason why Ch’Thier and Ranna look different in their god forms than they did in their physical bodies? Or can they just take on any look they like?
Last panel makes it sound like Ranna gambled… and lost
Please tell me Saidrah speaks with a Cajun accent and likes to play cards 😀
Well, you could imagine any of her dialogue to sound how you want it to…Go ahead & take the Gambit.
😉
Have to admit, the name "Ch’Thier" didn’t ring any bells 🙁

That’s what meant: wasn’t until panel four that it clicked 🙁
The daughter of a Goddess was half Human and half Demon? How does that even work. The mortal children of Gods are usually Demigods.

She may be a Goddess, but she is a Demon Goddess

She’s Ranna’s equivalent of Glon or Joan.
Perhaps she will have better luck than Gruumsh…
Yeah, for the gods, it’s all fun-n-games until someone losses an eye.
