Immortal doesn’t mean unkillable. Centuries all alone, in a creepy crypt, crying over long lost lovers. At least she has her new elven sex slave, though it keeps slipping the leash.
Well you know, on the bright side you just found out your favourite brother has turned into an immortal lich…. so at least you wont have to alone anymore… mostly…
As long as Rannas evil magic don’t have a bad affect on Lewie.. him being a lich and all.
In theory you can suffer together for all of eternity, there’s a loooot of checker games to be played.
Well, considering that all the drow in the area are supposed to be dead, maybe Lewie could rustle up some nice and loyal skeleton minions to assist with guarding the Goddess of Evil’s corpse?
Back up one strip:
Panel #6 – "most" of the Drow were destroyed (nitpick, but still)
and Panel #7 – Aliam sacrificed her hand, but not her life; therefore, she may still be around. Somewhere.
I’d like to point out the flaw in raising the dead via necromancy most evil in the presence of one of the most evil entities that this universe has ever seen. There’s just a whole army of undead full of FAIL in that plan, especially considering that living Drow, actively resisting Ranna and dedicated to containment were corrupted.
OKay. Gods who have faded away and forgotten about this little "situation."
I REALLY would like to know just how many centuries Ata has been at this duty post.
My mind boggles that Ch’thier herself doesn’t drop by at least once every 50 years or so and check up on things, offer support and provisions, help round up new gods who would have a vested interest in maintaining Ranna in her sleep.
Interesting here (and previous comic) that Dewcup is showing actual self-awareness that her actions might have consequences. I’m taking that as a sign that the fundamental division of herself into discrete personalities/entities either has taken, or is in process of taking, place.

MISC THOUGHT
Lewie reappears at the end the of Jone: Half Orc arc:
with a suspiciously gloating satisfaction.
Suppose that Jone was somehow hijacked from Gruuumsh by Ranna, and that’s why she got out of control of her own creator/god? I mean, Gruuumsh is quite disappointed in Jone in strip 1398.
How would Lewie even be aware of Jone? Why would he be hunting her? Did he "Gotcha!" Jone, or was it something else ..? ❓
His personality shift at that point in YAFGC history always caught my attention from the day that strip posted (or, rather the immediately following strips).
Um, why is anyone protecting Ranna’s body? Seems to me, letting it rot and turn to dust would be a good thing. Don’t need cruelty and destruction. Now why not kill/burn/make magically impotent the soul carrier Charlotte? Sure it sucks for her, but the good of the many, y’know?
"Just" "immortal". Wow. Such a hard life. 😛

That’s not her way.

I foresee a ‘recover the hand’ quest in their future…
That… would be fun: the recovery group nabs the hand back, only for the Party to nab it back again, leading to decades of ‘keep away’ 😀

Or, maybe the Drow simply reverted back to being, well, Drow, it’s not like they were free of corruption or evil to start with

With Great Power comes Great Boredom!
Peace is like that…
It cant be the real D-cup she get embarrassed of what she have done, the real D-cup do never have any regret what she have done 😉
It is the good twin?
Actually, go back to when those Woodies banished her, after they dragged her hundreds of miles away from her home (and Arachne)

To stop the cult of Ranna from awakening her. Nobody ever said that her and Ch'Thier *died*. They are asleep.
