And, to respond to the above question: I think you’re correct. This could well be that moment when Cad & Luke were in that tent. It seems certainly that same camp, so it’s within a night or two at the most. So, Adwyn, incoming in 3 …….. 2….. 1 …

I <i>really</i> doubt that good people don’t get mad at someone beheading them for no reason at all. Especially after being cut off from the outside world for so long.
After the long gambling with uninteresting characters this comic almost lost me. But then: BAM! Lewie, the most awesome necromancer is back in business.
@hanns — I have to disagree, rather strongly, with your assessment. YAFGC has a collection of some of the most interesting and fleshed out characters in the webcomic universe.
Lewie is pretty cool, yeah. But, there’s no story arc that isn’t worth the read, and there are, easily, at least a dozen or a score of other characters that are as interesting as Lewie.
I would suggest that, as a reader, a person needs to have a sense of depth and subtlety to truly appreciate just how wonderful some of the folks they meet in these stories are. Some rather unique and fascinating individuals, many of whom I wish I could sit down in a pub and share some strong drink and good conversation with.
