Glon looks a bit more like his father, with that beard, I think. Too bad for Shaija, I think she would have had smart kids, but at least she seems happy enough the way things are.
I have to ask though… Is Gadgia being retroactively changed to Gaggia? All of the older strips with her had it spelled Gadgia, as far as I know, but her character listing now has it with three ‘g’s, as does this strip.
So I got the previous strip wrong. I thought the joke was that Shaija doesn’t like taking care of babies, so when she has one she just gives it to another.
She discovered whose baby’s underwear was messed 🙂 And she passed the girl to her mother so that mom would wash the baby by her own. It’s totally ok, right? And it would be consentually ok as well if any one of Glon’s wives washed any of the babies. They just have _this_ habit and not _that_ one 🙂
He had it disbanded in an attempt to please Goria. But that’s in a strip that hasn’t been put back in the archives yet. -One presumes that he’s got a few bastard heirs from that particular group. There’s little Glonlets and Wolflets all over the Black Mountain!
Speaking of Wolfie: still hoping for another ElfMoot with those same two guards asking the new Drow Guard what happened to Wolf, and being told "Oh, he’s now the Queen’s Royal Consort!" 😀
She was named Gaggia in my original notes and her introduction. In my haste to keep posting strips, I’d forgotten how I’d spelled the name and subsequently did it phonetically. I’ve decided to go back to Gaggia for notes and so on, but both spellings are accepetable. They live in an age like the historical medieval times when spelling wasn’t standardized so much.

Seriously, I thought that he’d somehow come back from the dead.
It could be a nickname
I find this strip adorable x)
However… not havind Red Orc heirs probably isn’t very benefical for the Red Orcs…
Unlike the Golden Orcs (or what ever ‘lost’ tribe Jone and her mother belonged to), fairly sure Shaija is not the last Red Orc
She’s not the last one, sure. The problem is the position of power, and how the Red Orcs won’t have it anymore if something happens to Shaija.
Maybe one of glons kids wil marry another red orc in the future to secure the position.
I can’t believe I didn’t think of that.

If anyone wondered , like me, who were all these Orc Princesses again then following link is helpful.

(Yeah, it is already 6 years gone since those days)
One of my favorites of all YAFGC .. next to the first ones 😉
I always liked Mrs. Bloodhand’s, sorry Queen Bloodhand’s, stories the most .. just personal preference though, all arcs are brilliant.
What happened to Glon’s harem, though ?

Yaay! New Glon story!
I just noticed:
Gaggia was called Gadgia in older strips.
Out of curiousity: Why did her name change?

"The Serpent Awakes" … Yeah, I bet it does! XD
(Sorry. Dirty mind. Couldn’t resist.)
I really love the respect you afford Glon’s wives. They really shine as individuals that he fully appreciates.
