Probably. It has temples. Depending on their patron deity they will give some support. Moreover, charity need not be organized. You have beggers in this world (who wouldn’t beg if noone would give money to beggers). Moreover, farmers, nobility and businessmen may give menial jobs and shelter to someone more because that person needs it than because of other reasons.
Err, why wouldn't there be? Look up the origins of the word "hospital". It comes from "hospitality" as they were originally places that anyone who needed could stay at if they had nowhere else to go. They would take the sick when nobody else would, so those who wished to *help* the sick would obviously gather there, and then they evolved into what they are today.
Maybe Rich refers to /Star Trek/ numbering the /USS Constellation/ (UFP starship the Constellation class is named for) as NCC-1017 and the /Enterprise/ as NCC-1701. Same digits, almost-reverse sequence.
The thing is, Cadugan is rather dubious about living in a castle as it is, though he is willing, for Lucas’s sake. I think Lucas will have to pull him aside and explain that while, from Cadugan’s outside point of view, it may look crowded, there is probably a warren of rooms there, and it wouldn’t be that hard to entirely avoid someone else living there, if that is what he really wants. And would it be such a terrible thing, to get to know his little brother? After all, all of Cadugan’s other relatives we have seen are connected to nature, in one way or another. His mother can be given some useful job that will keep her busy. She could even go out hunting, if that is what she wants, with a safe place to leave her youngest, and to come back to. Though it will be interesting to see her reaction when the subject of werewolves comes up. *chuckle*
😀
"Charity"?
Are there really institutions for the poor in this world?!?

Holy head snap batman !
Very few people want their parents to move in with them…heh.
Making a note here: Pages surprisingly restarted from 2000 or so it seems. 😀 2803, 2804, 2085, 2086…
In case you didn’t notice! 🙂
No, just another numbering error starting from last page (Rich just put the ‘8’ & ‘0’ in the wrong places)
AH!!! Thanks for the catch! Must fix….
edit:
Fixed. Again, thanks for that. That’s what us Star Trek nerds would call a “Constellation typo.” Heh heh heh….
…anyone?
Wouldn’t Constellation typo be 2058, 2068?
Um….. yes. NERD! 😀

Cadugan is not happy xD
But then again, he is never happy.
Even family is considered "people".

Lucas also needs an heir…Kid comes to the castle. Kid turns out to be bright. Kid is already related to Lucas through marriage. I can see it.
About what I figured was going to happen.
Shortest.
Honeymoon.
EVAH.
This is one of those instances where even though you see it coming from a mile away, that’s the whole point, and makes it *more* funny.
Lucas is going to receive a talking-to…
t!
Oh, and speaking of weddings – Happy Anniversary!
t!
Woah! Thanks! Actually until last night, we’d both forgotten all about it ourselves! We’re so flattered that you remembered! Thank you!
A belated Happy Anniversary!
_Someone_ is sleeping on the royal couch tonight 😀
"But… it’s _my_ castle! You don’t even _like_ the castle!!" 😛
