I don’t know if that’s his daughter. He have up his position as HEIR to the throne to his daughter, but she may not have succeeded the current Queen yet.
Also, most daughter’s don’t call their daddies by first name.
Yep. At the end of the werewolf arc it became clear.
It’s not clear, to me, that Lady Marion knew this. Where did that show? The whispering could be about anything ranging from: "I heard you are a phenomenal kisser" (or sth. sex/lover related) to relating some embarassing moment when Shawn was drunk to "you like to wear fox costumes".
The other forum is worthwhile to visit too, with Morgana (player of Morgana), Timemonkey and many other enjoyable contributers.
No, I think it really is Shawn.
They never once appeared at the same page together, the Fox appears out of nowhere when Shawn is nowhere to be seen but is supposed to be around, and they kinda do have similar personalities.
Who needs to wear a mask under a mask? After all, Clark Kent has gotten by with a pair of glasses since 1938…
It’s really amazing how comics can get away with simply wearing something over the eyes as a disguise, even though people who know the person should still easily recognize them.
I tried imagining the page drawn with an entirely right or left handed Queen and the layout in either case just isn’t as effective. It would either lose the flow it has between frames or the images would look awkward. The ambidextrous Queen is a small price to pay for a page this well composed. Rich always does a stunning job with his page design.
She doesn’t _have_ to be ambidextrous, she reached out to gauge his eyes wit the closest available hand (maybe he was holding her right seeing that’s the one she held the rapier in and slapped him with) and he pulled his head away but her thumb was caught in the eye-hole (you can see the thumb through the hole in the last panel)
Going back to Queen Anna’s first appearance where you see her knight someone, she uses the sword in her RIGHT hand, so I’m guessing that Anna is actually ambidextrous, but favours her left hand as it’ll give her an advantage in a melee fight, since most people are right handed and aren’t used to fighting a Southpaw.
Yeah, I don’t buy it. Seeing that The Fox is dipicted with dark/brown hair (http://yafgc.net/comic/1271-whiteeye-tells-a-story/), Shawn is nothing but an imposer.
Check out the side of his hair. Pretty dark I’d say. Maybe he’s bleaching the hair up top to lighten it a shade or two for reasons unknown. Or maybe the lighter hair is actually him turning grey on the roof?
What I want to know is..why hasn’t he taken better precautions against losing the mask? You’d figure he’d double-knot the string at the least. Has nobody ever tried to unmask him before this?
Wait wait wait, Shawn is the Fox? Or there are two Foxes? Shawn is Jone’s father? Now I have to go back through the entire timeline and figure out whether Shawn and the Fox were always in the same part of the country at the same time. 🙂
We still haven’t heard the story of how he reliquinquished the throne to Anna, but maybe that’s coming?
I guess Shawn hasn’t seen his daughter in a while, has he?

Does she even *know* that he's her father?
Am… Am I reading this correctly? The Fox has been revealed??
This is for real? o_O
Wait, does she not know that he is her dad? O_o
Apparently, as I just learned yesterday, the people over at the other forums deduced this long ago…
Which part? 😉
This webic has a forum? o_O
There’s a forum link above the comic, beside Shopping.

Oh, wow. Is this what Lady Marion knew about?
Say WHAT now?! O_O
Mask under mask?
What ‘mask under mask’? o_O

For those that need a reminder…
http://yafgc.net/comic/1935-she-knows-already/
that’s also a reminder of just how awesome Lady Marion of Heatherdale is.
I was just reading that one. So, he’s the Queen’s father too. I forgot about that. (And that makes the Queen of Shallmar Jone’s sister…)
Half-sister, to be exact.
ugh I’m so lost, where does it say that Shawn is connected to Jone?
Shawn isn’t. The Fox is. Page 1271…
But now that I look at it, I’m not really sure if it really is the same Fox.
Wait, Jone White-Eye? Shawn was her father as well? o_O
Eeyup: http://yafgc.net/comic/1271-whiteeye-tells-a-story/
Oh right, he sure gets around for a human
Dun-dun-dun! (with thanks to Elan, of course)
Dammit Elan…
So is she sinister, ambidextrous (she unmasks with the right), or did she decide she didn’t have time to switch hands?
t!

Nobody said she did.

You were the one to bring it up 😛
I brought it up, yeah, but if you’d have read properly…

> The ambidextrous Queen is a small price to pay
Absolutely.
The answer, "Yes, it’s a cheat," is perfectly acceptable in some circumstances – like this one.

Okay, who’s gonna save the Dragon from THIS queen?
