Nice to see Ain again. It has been fun watching those kids grow up during the course of the story. 🙂 Also nice to see Ibkis get a chance to be diplomatic and shine a bit.
I wonder if someone is feeding Sittica’s cat? Oh, wait, never mind, it is probably feeding itself. Lots of DMs to go around. **has sudden mental image of a DM being swamped under by a pack of cute, but ferocious miniature wargs**
Ibkis’ fangs didn’t register at first, nor did her dark hair, thought it was Maula 🙁
Okay, either Rich Morris or a fan has _got_ to make an image of a DM being swarmed by mini wargs 😀
With the follow up picture of the smallest trying to carry off a leg or an arm 😀
If goria’s granfather was a loyalist to the bloodhands but though the line had gone extinct and the other loyalists thought the same then this wil be a bit of a shock 😛
Don’t believe they are going there for that, but simply because Ain was there (somehow doubt Goria’s brother will be supportive of Maula, and more than likely betray her to the Hobgoblins and Bugbears)
Oh wait, you mean a shock for the Loyalists, probably, it would be like having Owen Glendower return to the streets of Cardiff 😀 (if you don’t know who he was, he was the last true Prince of Wales, and one day he just vanished without a trace)
thats what i meant yea, specialy since the bloodline is thriving 😛
True royalty understands loyalty is something to be appreciated and rewarded not just demanded
Absolutely!
He may be too overcome to realise it, even though she mentioned it, but they’ve put him in serious danger, too.
Under the old seigniory system (and in any hierarchical system that isn’t ignoble by design), the lords had rights *and* responsibilities. I learned that in gradeschool; it kinda stuck with me.
t!
Not just that, but Ibkis (and the Bloodhands) respect people, and treat them with respect, not because of what they can get out of them
Sittica sure made the right choice. Ain is a bit of a flake, isn’t he?
Flake? What he just experienced would be similar to The President showing up at your door after a coup, and saying that he owed you a debt for giving him shelter
Well, maybe not the President. More like one of his daughters. Meaning that you had to treat them even better. A story can easily be misconstrued and exaggerated, and if the actual power on the throne heard that you mistreated them…
As the saying goes, "You could have bowled me over with a feather." So who brought the feather?
