This is the first time I’ve seen someone invoke a Beholder’s status as an "I Win" button before.

Bob’s embarrassed because Meegs gave him such a high compliment…And she’s not far from wrong. There’s little that can stand toe-to-toe(?) with an enraged beholder.
For RP’ing experience I know when people start saying nice things about your capabilities is usually when they’re about to ask you to do something insanely dangerous for them.

Ooo, that explains why Bob is blushing: it’s not a blush, it’s fear, he is genre-savvy and knows she has just called down a world of pain his way (ie she just managed to find a red-shirt that will fit him)
