i want a magic catsnake!
that was 1 cm away from a headshot
He rolled a nat 20, but failed to confirm the crit. 😛
Or he did confirm the crit on a called shot. This is Hank we’re talking about.
I don’t think that word means what you think it means… :p
This is YAFGC after all, nothing is impossible!
Oddly enough, the exact same quote ran through my head when I saw the last frame….. 😀
Inconceivable!
Why let the gorgon alive? Huge mistake.
I don’t think he let her live so much as he assumed "headshot equals dead".
A bullet to the armoured temple is still going to be like getting getting in the head with a hammer. Pretty sure Hank (or Scale, both had their guns out) did that to render her unconscious since they aren’t cold blooded killers.
All the other shots missed but had the desired effect of panicking the mounts, and causing disarray and confusion in the rannite party. The ONLY shot that did hit, was one that rendered the biggest threat (hopefully) unconscious.
Yet, why would he let a gorgon live?
He should have seen, that she got knocked out…and even if he isn’t familiar with the powers of one, the others should have warned him…
She can turn the whole party inside out, in a matter of second, so PERMANENTLY putting her away would have been the safest thing to do.
I’m against killing in RL ~ but if i had to face a damn gorgon? I’d probably take no risk, if she could kill my friends with a single gaze…
Maybe they haven’t told him how dangerous she is yet. Also since they’re used to people knowing how dangerous a Gorgon is, maybe it hasn’t occurred to them that Hank doesn’t know about the Petrify gaze.
Also Hank being Hank would still have a problem shooting an *unarmed* woman, since him being a gentleman and all.
…okay. I like Hank.
I like Hank too, but he needs more time on the target range
I am under the impression they hit *exactly* what they aimed at.
t!
Soooo … does he need LESS time on the target range?
Wall, ah reckon he’s doin’ jess fahn with the tahm he’s already puttin’ in.
t!
The vanity of the villain:
*He* got here, but it cannot be the case that his nemesis managed to get here as well.
t!
In his defense, he’s been on this world for centuries now, with no sign that Hank and company are on his trail. Of course, that’s exactly the problem when your nemesis is a time traveler…
"What do we want?"
"Time travel!"
"When do we want it?"
"Meh, whenever."
Maybe Trahl needs a… Primer.
t!
(oh, the shame)
Blasts from the Past – very clever :o)
