Glon doesn’t know that, only the two idiot drow that were with Arachne when she died know that. Also we don’t necessarily know that Ranna controls all afterlife. We saw glimpses of other human gods and they didn’t seem like they were preparing for war with Ranna yet so it may be somewhat localized still. She took out 10 gods according to herself but we only know of Gruumsh and the Scorpi god, presumably she also took out Lloth, but we don’t yet know of the Hobgoblin afterlife. (Or anything of the goblin gods at all really)
"Everyone present" being two drow, and nobody else. "The afterlife" could very, *very* easily just mean the drow afterlife. (And the afterlife for the orcs and those others that she consumed, but it being *all* afterlifes would contradict the idea that she hasn't yet begun to encroach on the domains of the gods that she hasn't already eaten)
I imagine he IS pretty hard to kill, actually. Slice him open, I bet he grows together again. Put him on fire, he’ll melt, cool off and put himself into shape again.
