That poor girl… these gorgons need to die screaming in agony. Asap. Not sure about the gnome…he’s forced to help sure, but he’s still helping. Maybe it’s just me but I rather die than aid the Rannites.
Well that’s what happens when you get emotionally invested in characters over a period of 11 years and then you see them subjected to horrific situations by villains that have thus far proven untouchable.
There’s emotionally invested (which I’m assuming a lot of the readers are towards at least some characters) and obsessed. And you’re starting to sound obsessed with the destruction of Ranna and her cult.
And if you take a minute to remember something Scale said about visiting this dimension in its future, when Magic was effectively non-existant… which implies Ranna sucks up all the magic, finds herself with no "food" source and starves slowly for centuries, her cult finding itself without the backing of the only Goddess with power and a very angry world population wanting revenge on them all.
I’m not obsessed with the destruction of Ranna and her cult, but that’s the ending I want for them. It’s what they deserve. I want the victims to be saved and freed from her control, and I want the ones responsible for it to answer for their crimes.
You know, what Rich is doing here is actually showing how many things we as a society now accept as play, as make-believe, would be nasty and, well, evil.
You know, we keep seeing "evil" in a sympathetic light in this comic, it is actually interesting to see the suffering they are reveling in.
If he uses a bomb, he can’t even duck under cover or run away. Yeah, he could do them some damage, but they would recover their losses & keep going even if he can’t.
He could create an acid to burn through his chains, allowing him to escape… but to get out of that den, he’d have to be able to sneak past three gorgons eho have a vested interest in keeping him and the cages of victims who would want freed if they saw him making for the exit…
While I like the nudity, I’m not sure a zombie would be a good worker. Can you just tell them "clean up the lab" or "mix a liter of potion #9", or do you have to constantly take up your time watching them and giving simple orders?
Making me do the most appalling things is I think what you meant to have him say
Oh, boy. Poor girl, that’s sad.
Yeah, the Rannanites are the REAL monsters in this comic. Not the Orcs, Beholders, Harpies, Gelatinous Cubes, Gnolls, etc.
I want them dead. All of them. Every Rannite worshipper (not the brainwashed victims). Dead. No exceptions. :p

Psst, I doubt dying would be a better idea considering WHO is currently running the afterlife.
(I’ll give you a hint, the goddess whom this cult is named after.)
Yeah, but they might well be holding his family to ensure his cooperation.
Or they may be hiding from him how bad they actually are.
They brought in a zombified girl and a vial of her cerebral fluid for a potion. If he doesn’t know they’re evil, he’s too stupid to live.
No, I think he knows they are horrible, but I agree that with this level of horrible he should bash his own brains out with a rock and not help them.
Your attitude is far more disturbing to me than Ranna and her minions. They, after all, are clearly fictional. Not to mention more subtle.

Can you give the link for that strip?
I think this is the strip you want. http://yafgc.net/comic/2915-a-glimpse-into-the-future/
Thank T-Chall, that was the strip I was meaning. Just mistook who said it…
A quick and painless death is a mercy they do not in any way deserve.
Also – sex toy!

Ewwwww.
Yup >_>

Absolutely, on both counts.

This comic has made a very disturbing turn. Blagh.
So…he is an alchemyst…why is he not crafting bombs?

That’s just MEAN, man!
