Oh yeah… forgot the Rannites brought packs of Deinonychus with them…
(Velociraptors are actually the size of a turkey, the JP ones are Deinonychus. Crichton changed the name in the book as Velociraptor sounded more dramatic.)
I’m sorry. It’s one of those things where you post something & then immediately get a flood of belated objectivity as to how much sense it’s likely to make to anyone that hasn’t just been through the same thought process as you…..
The ‘robot with a head shaped like a soccer ball’ he’s on about would appear to be the Red Dwarf character Kryten, who’s named after the eponymous character from J M Barrie’s ‘The Admirable Crichton’… who has the same last name as the Jurassic Park author.
No, I don’t know how he got to that from what Alyx actually said.
I got it from a misreading of the above post. Missed the period in "Deinonychus. Crichton" and assumed that was the whole name of the dinosaur. Still, it prompted some interesting responses 😀
Now for her big mammal brain to show that it is superior to even the relatively big dinosaur brain, even when working co-operatively. Just give her time.

So the bigger ones are named after a robot with a head shaped like a soccer ball. Hmmm…
What are you going on about?

I’m so confused.
Still no idea what Aaron is going on about.

‘Deinonychus Kryten’. Remorselessly hunts you down in packs & then guilt-trips you to death over the state of your laundry.
Yes, Nick lol. Their hunting cry is, Smeeeeeeeeeee!!
Pretty sure those were established as Troodon, not Deinonychus.
Well, there is a variant called Utahraptor that is the same size as the raptors in Jurassic Park.

You are right, but weren’t they classified *after* the film?
Now all we need is a lady in her underoos and a british Bobby to the theme of Benny Hill
We always need that.
It’s called "Yakety Sax".
Now for her big mammal brain to show that it is superior to even the relatively big dinosaur brain, even when working co-operatively. Just give her time.
Cool trick with the two-panel environments!
t!
Is she running in circles? Maybe that is how she plans on losing the dino pack.
It’s Maran in the first two panels, followed by Havrah in the following two panels.
Also he’s conscientiously drawn it twice rather than just copy-pasting like, ooh, the odd webcomic-artist I can think of might’ve done…
Rich, no worries. You’ve got to take care of the work and life responsibilities first, naturally.
Sending overgrown raptors after her is just… rude!
Let me guess, in human form this wolf is superman?
Dinosaurs vs. Werewolves… Are we entering Smash-Up-territory here?
