That’s actually very reminiscent of… Die Hard? The newsman/anchorhole. But these two (Trevor and Leland) don’t even REMOTELY resemble the aforementioned peeps.
"Tell me you got that" and variants thereof have crossed my path several times, and each one is funny if the context works. The one that comes most vividly to mind is from GTA: Vice City. You know the one.
As history tends to be written by the victors, its good to have someone from the other side give their perspective. While neither is necessarily ‘he truth’, the two different perspectives can be used to get a decent approximation.
Yup. I only drew the first and last panels and the other two have (s/a panel 10 on them. Or something like that. As Aaron pointed out, the flaws got copied over too.
Eeeyup. ?
That is the most Trevor-and-Leland moment I have, well and truly, ever seen. 😀

Oh, I dunno. Give Leland the right haircut and a shave, and he could look like Dick Thornton….

Like hell he did (write it all down). That’s how legends are born.
Oh, and if Glamor (and Sharc) didn’t get away, she’s going to be one angry undead.
I read this differently, that he was surprised to see the words on the paper.
Could go either way, but I tend towards Fnordius’ interpretation.
History-gasm. Cleanup in Archives Aisle XXVII. Also, a pack of cigarettes for each of them.
Also also, another bag of Raise Dead Dust. Instantly habit-forming for Librarians and Archivists.
And a murder victim would always be the perfect witness.
What makes you think someone would tell the truth just because they’re dead?
Oh, that’s good. I’m gonna use that sometime.
Look up the play "Rashomon" to see how reliable a witness a murder victim is. 😉

"Were you on Dust when you wrote this?"
"You have no idea."

Fantasy era journalism, lol
"Don´t worry, I have a good memory"
This is very memeable. There’s so much that could be written in those last speech bubbles.
I love the Repeated Panel technique, always have. First got introduced to it around the mid-90s via the first few Cerebus trades.
How do you do it? Copy-Paste into the next panel?
t!
yeah, it must be copy and paste because even a couple of unsuspecting dots got duplicated (the ones in the bottom right corner).

I call them ‘beauty spots.’
