I really enjoy costuming the non-Halflings in Silverydale because naturally all their available fashions are designed for Halflings. So everything’s short and wide and there’s no footwear to be seen! Hheheh
Now she needs a boy band to scream at.
Preferably from the stage, as she looks more like she could front a girl punk band. Reminds me of Guano Apes, or Garbage.
Y’know, we’ve seen a brief flash-forward to a more technological, lower-magic Age that looked roughly equivalent to our 20th century…I would love to see the music scene from that era. Elven glam-rockers, dwarven opera divas, angsty half-orc and half-drow punk idols, irascible gnomish orchestra conductors, trolls on percussion. And I bet you couldn’t drag the nymphs and satyrs out of the mosh pit without heavy machinery.

Yeah, but that would have hurt just as bad BEFORE she put on the chain shirt. At least this way, a non-zero fraction of torso blows will be stopped.
Tallfolk-sized armor would work better for Urzal than halfling-sized armor, but if it’s the only heirloom you’ve got, it’s better than nothing.
Pish! that’s now women’s armor! It probably protects her as well as a full suit of plate protects a guy!

I was given a wagged finger when I posted the original strip back in 2006 and have not forgotten it. Though I have not (and won’t) change the original strip, I do not and will not use such references again. I have grown over the years and have decided that YAFGC will be a safe place of acceptance and fairness, even if I have to learn lessons the hard way.
The original strip remains unchanged mainly because I’ve had it published that way and to change it feels like a lie or a cheat.
Apologies for any hurt that has been caused by the posting here, Justin just stayed true to my original text for his tribute so I take all responsibility for it. I can only say I’m sorry and I’ll try not to be insensitive in future.
Bear in mind, however, that I’m a North American Straight White Male of British descent, so I’ve got centuries of cultural villainy to overcome. I’m trying.

Leaving it as is, while being open about never doing it again, is an admission of error and a celebration of everyone’s capacity for growth. Commendable.

Sorry Kent, try to take it in the context of the joke. The Drow is supposed to be crass and insensitive. And it’s her shocking behavior that makes the joke funny. Zero offense intended and I’m sure your daughter is a lovely person.
Chainmail is usually adjusted by running leather thongs through the appropriate links.
Quick!! Get Urzal some leather armor to wear under the Chain.. Crop Top… That should help lessen the blows of some attacks.
