I’m starting to suspect that halflings are just natural drama-magnets.
Dwarves gotta dig, dryads gotta photosynthesize, halflings gotta complicate.
Cypress should see if he can get the Glon multiple wives deal. I mean, he’s no prince that we know of, but HAlF-orc, HAlFling. He’s got something to work with her. *big ‘ol bad boy Bob grin*.
And c’mon Mucat, all the races gotta drama. Even the chimera who’s mostly been the only one through the whole comic.
Appearantly, there is a female version of the chimera around somewhere.
I did remember that, hence the "mostly", though I couldn’t remember the specifics with her.
But for the vast length of this comic, the Chimera has been the only one (and three) and has managed drama all by himself/themselves.
Well this is the best way to make Ryann arrive.

Ryann’s obviously going to be pretty upset when she sees this.
On the bright side, this frees up Ryann to find a little romance of her own while adventuring.
Is Ryann planning on going adventuring?
Urzal is, and Helen probably is (unless she tells her mom ‘No’ for some reason.) If anything, Ryann might be less inclined to tag along on the adventure path now, if Conniving Temptress Helen is going…
