Now I am confused again… Weren’t the ones looking for Silverydale supposed to find it?
He did a blanket coverage spell. it blocked anyone from finding the village. it didn’t matter if they knew exactly where it was or not. it was the only surefire way to make sure the rannites couldn’t find it.
Now I’m even more confused, since Flannet Hunter made her way from Greyfort, and the map shows it to be nearby but not the same place… I dunno, too many if-but-maybes.
It’s possible that there are wards that prevent Raanites from finding Silverydale even if they are looking for it, the only reason her mother and her retinue found their way in was because they were good and not under the influence of Rana.

@AussieTrekkie79 – That bothering thought popped up in my mind later as well. It can be, that people who look for it with good intentions will find it, the ones with ill intention won’t, and eventually everybody else will just ignore it. But that would mean, that Jewel is working for the Rannites now. 🙁
Well, we have seen that Rannite/Dark Mistress brainwashing magic can turn even a strong and good-aligned mind (I’m thinking Celena here, not Meegs, who was no challenge at all.)
But let’s hope that the deal is more like "someone who is specifically looking for Silverydale gets +4 on their saving throw against Feddick DeKyle’s spell", and Jewel just botched the save anyway.
The other possibility might be that Feddick’s spell wasn’t as complete as he thought it was, so that while most people had their memories or perceptions altered, it didn’t work on everyone. So while it worked on Jewel, it didn’t work on Flannet.
Or maybe Jewel just forgot the exact location.

I get consistent RSS notifications, so it should work if you have an appropriate extension/add-in for your web browser.
I just check the site every day.
There’s an RSS notifications icon in the top/right corner under the title for this webpage. It’s the orange one that looks like a WiFi symbol. Like Nikary Flare, I just check every day, but like David Nuttall I believe all you have to do is click on this if you have the right extension.
