3280 Too Enthusiastic To Fear
Thanks to all of you for all the sweet birthday wishes. It was a rough day, but the evening was GREAT! I had cake and cupcakes and lots of attention from DM and our kids! And of course, reading these made me feel really good.
Well, these drop-ins certainly know how to motivate their audience… π
Downside: Evil and monsters and horrors everywhere…
Upside: GREAT TIME TO BE AWESOME!!! π
lolol reminds me of the wee free men from terry pratchett’s discworld- they love being outnumbered because there’s so much greater a chance to hit the opponent! love the juxtaposition of the outlooks π
"Remember, only attack people who are bigger than you are! Very important rule!"
Upside: XP-rich environment!
"Will you even be able to convince the warriors to go there with news like that?"
Yes. Yes you will.
With this lot, it will be tough to convince them to stay behind, or they will _all_ be wanting to go π
Is the middle guy in the last panel supposed to be someone? Kinda get the impression they should be recognizable…
Nope! Just a funny, excited viking guy.
Enjoyment. Turns hell into heaven without changing a thing π
"Most of us can, as we choose, make of this world either a palace or a prison." –John Lubbock
Great! Now I’m hungry for cake and cupcakes!
Guy on the Right in last Panel: Great! When do we leave!?
And my mind: "blood for the bloodgod"
AND SKULLS FOR HIS THRONE! π
Target rich environment! Every sword-jock’s dream!
Ah, the thrill of adventure.
Ask Runtherd about that one.
t!
Its the "Reverse-Kender"-effect! Like, if you want a Kender to stay away from something, tell him how boring it is (but be adviced that the Kender might go there anyway to check out if something can really be that boring!).
It this case Zac really knows his audience, better step aside or you’ll get run over in the stampede to the shops!
.. SHIPS damnit!
This run will make Black Friday look like a quiet walk in the park!
βQuick, raise the prices on all the weapons!β
"What weapons? I believe they disappeared in that localized dust-cloud. Oh look, they left a note. Umm, what does ‘I.O.U.’ mean?"
It means you are not getting paid!
To inspire barbarians, you need a barbarian's point of view!
