The spelling just didn’t look right to me, so did a quick check to be sure
Yeah, I meant carcass. My keyboard sticks on the double letters sometimes and I’m not great with the rereads.
No worries, it had been driving me nuts and wasn’t sure why, had to look the word up to check 😀
Alas, poor Lewie!
Everything’s just "gang aft agley" again. Best laid plans of mice, men…and liches.
Poor Lewie–hard to explain yourself–or backtalk–when your lower jaw is missing (again).
On the plus side, the demi-lich look is *great* on him. 😉
Fun thing is, I can’t recall any strip, on which Lewie and Eddy interacted with each other before, or even had the chance to do so… But they both are quite old, so chances they’ve met before its all started. And last strip suggests, they were not parting as good friends…
And whether or not they’ve ever met face-to-skull, Lewie’s attempt at world conquest in the Lich of the Rings arc probably made him somewhat notorious among mages.

Confirmed that there’s no previous overlap in their cast pages. I think https://www.yafgc.net/comic/0253-magical-whoopsie/ is the closest they’ve been, at the same island but with Eddy in deep sleep. And that time they were on the same side.
