Upside-down is for amateurs. Cap’n Fang is building it *backwards in time*; that’s why Jone lost sight of him.
(When he’s finished, in a couple decades ago, Goria WhiteEye will have had no idea why a kobold will have been presenting her infant daughter a snowman.)
I started to see images Fang jumping around in the snow, singing (Let it go), building all kind of stuff, while Jone is trying to catch him…
@mucat: by that time I’m sure he would present an ice-palace, as the snowman he built decided to run away collecting hugs on the way (partly Jone’s utmost annoyance – an other unkillable foe, who even hangs on her half the time)
she really needs some conditioner dying and going to hell only to be reborn as an undead demon is not doing any favors for her hair. she also needs to stop killing for a few minutes and eat something, the poor dear is nothing but skin and bones.
a bit of TLC, maybe some therapy, and she’ll be ready to join society, hopefully wandering to the ends of the earth looking for a kobold will help clear her mind a bit.
I agree, and I would have thought that she would have collapsed into dust when Magic crashed like Twitter’s stock shares.
But then again, we’d have to consider the short life-span of Kobolds …. how much more can the good Captain have left?
Hmmmm….
Meh, screw "reality", whatever turns out to be the most fun works for me!
Honestly, I’d kind of been expecting/hoping that when we saw Fang & Jone ride off into the sunset together, that would be the last of them. Since they’re both unkillable, her driven singlemindedness and his pure entropy would cancel each other out, all kinds of speculation as to what happened, (characters and readers!), they’d fade into legend…
Lots of readers don’t like Jone, which I can understand, but Fang’s every bit as one-note as she is: No matter how much fun it is to read his dialogue, it’s always pretty much the same joke.
I still feel sorry for her. She turned to the rage thanks to Gruumsh, and even when she had a chance to conquer it, it was pushed away. Like a sickness, which made her bloodthirsty, raging monster. I still remember and miss the happy forge-helper, what she was… It wasn't her fault what the orcish god did with her, even if in the end it couldn't control what created.
Looks like Cap’n Fang got away. She got the sword back, though. Maybe he just dropped it?
Probably lost interest in the whole thing. Well, the Goldkeeper Clan lives on…kind of. Unlikely she’ll ever marry Glon, though.
Fang’s probably just off-panel building a snowman upside-down, or something.

Nah hes singing random lyrics from beach boys songs to the tune of thong song
Fang is currently off site in a starring role as a video game superstar! Once he’s had his filling of pickled herring on rye, he’ll be back.

TLC, cookies and a nice mimosa
I hope she stays lost for good.

Short? Kobolds can live for ~200 years.
According to Chris Perkins the only live "11 DAYS!"
The future godness of Chaos…or at least Destruction
Fairly sure King Capt’n Fang is the god of Chaos (or was it chicken-shoes?)
Hey, Fang can be both! Don’t try to pigeonhole the Krazy Kobold!
He’s the KKK, the King of Krazy Kobolds. Nothing to do with wearing silly costumes though.
Yes, KCF’s clothes are *very* fashionable and trendy
Oh, you damn right
The dragon soars at midnight. A hamburger with a side of caviar. Dreams are the pickles of the soul.
Haven’t had any Fang in too long starting to have withdrawals. Also writing Fangisms is kinda fun.
As much as I’d like to see Jone somehow redeem herself, I can’t see that happening, but hope she finds peace, somehow…
I feel like the funniest possible outcome for her story arch is if she somehow becomes the next fox
… i can actually see that
"She’ll be back" …
And thus a legend was born.

t!
Where’s my improbable, bizarre romance scene, damn it!? XD
