I don’t want to overly disappoint you all, but this story isn’t a parody of The Dukes of Hazzard. Baz Hoggs is just a single reference. There won’t be any Roscoes, Enoses, Daisys, Uncle Jessies, Cooters, General Lees or Flashes.
We’ll decide 😉
Been reading since the start, just found out I don’t really need to open an account to post…
This is in all likelihood what is known as a ‘bad thing’
Part of me feel that Dark Heresy kinda had those plots.
Like one of the main issues with Imperium being decentralized governments (thanks to FTL travel is going through hell with the guidance of inbred psychics ala Dune Navigator) and Inquisitors had to deal with local governors–this is ignoring if they aren’t cultists, Tau sympathizers, and a member of Genestealer hive–NOT helping with them even if planet getting blown up being a major consequence.
I never watched the show, "Dukes of Hazzard." Is she supposed to be the idiot deputy who keeps letting them get away, or something?
I don’t think so, since that was Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane and his deputy, Enos… I’m not sure who this Carruthers is supposed to "map" to… if anyone.
Maybe she represents Myrtle / Mabel Tillingham or lulu Hog’s wife

like it or not they are envoys but these are the DUKE’S LANDS! Protocol must be followed
Lily=Daisy? There was an episode called "Officer Daisy Duke".
No. Baz Hoggs is a one-off gag reference because t! named the Barony Lifecross & Hoggs and we needed a Baron.
Oh, I wouldn’t go calling her "Lily." That might be bad.
t!
Is she the captain that made the arrest? That would be awkward.
> Is she the captain that made the arrest?
Oh, yes.
> That would be awkward.
Oh, yes.
t!
This, in narrative terms, is called plot development. In real life, it’s called ⮦¤△※$*^#²«!!!!
What mystery is complete without the Incorrect Constabulary?
t!
Fashion-wise, Lucas looks more like a commoner than the guards.
It seems Cadugan is a better influence than King Runtherd.
t!
She’s wearing spurs, so that explains her cavalier attitude.
*hands you cookies* That was good
Naroasa wants to know what it will take to have Captain Carruthers accompany her wherever she goes.
Still giggling at the expressions on the faces of them Duke boys!!!
I was *paralysed* when I first saw those…
t!
I’m giggling trying to figure out if it’s her menacing stare or the fact that she’s taller than Lucas LOL
