I miss the odd Pandemic Shut-in Strip D&D game/comic. It seems to have ended on panel 10.. Just as it was getting interesting.

Do you have the link for it? I didn’t find any more of the Strip D&D for a good while afer the one I posted as last, and I did reread well over a 100 strips after that… Its easy to got stuck on that…

Not much evidence, to be honest.
General build and character design, jawline. Something about her presence just reminded me very much of several of my friends in the trans community.
Also! Her name being a nontraditional variation of a traditionally male name seems to be a potential indicator: several people who I know went to a feminine variation of their dead name first, as a test to see who they want to be. Some kept that name, others went to one completely removed from their deadname.
There’s also something about her… not sure if this wording makes sense… "brazen femininity?" Her very forward manner towards Lucas gave those vibes.
On a metatextual level, I noticed on the read-through that the dates of your inclusion of various non-caucasian, non-straight heroic characters tended to roughly match the years I became aware of the importance of those groups’ lack of representation in media, and it just sort of makes sense that you might choose to introduce a trans person about now.

It may please you to know that Richard has, in consultation with a trans friend of ours, created a character specifically intended to transition. That character has already been introduced, before this storyline.

Interesting assumption, I actually went back myself to take a closer look…
Well all I can say is her jawline conforms to what many nowadays consider to be typical ‘Trans’ but seem to absolutely forget it’s a common jawline for many east European cis women as well. It’s so common in my family specifically we consider it feminine to the point of being confused when a woman who is trans mentions they want to narrow it… But, being a mix of Polish, Ukrainian, Austrian, and at least two other countries that have changed names since various ancestors were traced, kind of highlights certain traits like women with more squared off jawlines. (Also common to Baltic peoples as well).

It could also be someone who wasn’t resident in the abbey at all… I don’t like the Baron’s attitude… and if the book wasn’t in anyone’s rooms, perhaps it’s already left the premesis….

No, i’ve no idea where my brain initiated that, except too much firesign theater, but i do know that if it ended here, there’d be a real life international incident after i crossed the border to hunt down the script. I am that intrigued! And yet, i don’t want it to end either lol

On my laptop out of town the day after Christmas (now two days after) and found I had bookmarked when I last left off… back in 2014. So I binged everything up to this point. Incredible journey and great work as I knew then, proven across the years!
