Obviously I haven't heard any of the other voice auditions, but I sure think you have Davros down pat. ;)

Not entirely happy with the audio quality, but again, a good indication of whats to come.

lol- should the ads be considered a sufficient audition? <g>

(tho figuring out the communication problem  is important if you're going to send your work to each other  )

EEEEEEE!!!
Hehehhe, one of my favorites sequences. (Though it sounds like they're not too familair with the "Wizard of Oz" tune.)

Is that a fanboy SQUEEE! at your own work there Rich? lol

One of mine too, which made it an obvious choice to show what the story could sound like (plus a chance to showcase some Cybermen and K9)

Yeah, you caught me... not too familiar with The Wizard of Oz tunes, i know of the songs, but not really how they go together.

Oh and Drax? I had no reference for his voice so i just kind of used my own with a tad more accent lol

The Cybermen sound fx were great! And who doesn't love a cameo by K9?

Well, yeah... Good enough for a demo, though. Maybe I just haven't seen enough Cyber-episodes, but the thing that stuck out for me was that the Cybermen didn't sound quite mechanical enough in their cadence. Same comment applies - just a demo - but in case it helps for improving the final product...

Isn't Drax in the one at the end of The Key to Time? *searches* Yep! The Armageddon Factor. Umm, you know... In case you wanted to to find some reference... Not saying that you need to...

Hey Mrfranklin, thanks for your comments.

I did try and find reference for Drax, but youtube didnt bring anything up on the quick search i did unfortunately. If im cast as him in the final product, ill try and get a voice for him.

The Cybermen are the original series Cybermen, and, from what i recall as a kid, and rewatching The Five Docs and Earthshock recently, they did have less "mechanical" voices, so i tried to reflect that in this. I heard the 8th Doc audio adventure "Human Resources" recently too, which has an odd type of Cyber voice, almost as if it is struggling to find a speech pattern and is disjointed, but i felt that wouldnt be right for this. I dont like the new series Cybus-men voices at all BECAUSE they are so metallic, i find it hard to understand them.

I do take all these comments on board and they will be reflected in the finished version, should these tests be enough to get me the roles.

And yes, I do LOVE me some K9!!

Hmmm... I thought your voice style (the effects you used) sounded great - I agree that that's better than the Cybus effect. It's been a few months since I watched Earthshock. I guess it didn't stick in my memory very well, since I didn't recall them having such a natural, human cadence to their speech. Meh. If no one else thought it sounded un-Cyber, then it's no big deal; I'm certainly no expert.
